I had a dream about a giant betta the other night and had to draw it.

Everyone had giant fish and they just kind of floated through the air and if you held on to yours you could float around with it. Mine always wanted to fight everyone.

This is closely based off a real fish I own.

First time rigging and animating a character in after effects. It was fun!

Metalosis Maligna is a fake disease invented by award-winning Dutch filmmaker Floris Kaayk.

According to the mockumentary, Metalosis Maligna occurs when a metal implant has a bad interaction with human body tissues, causing the metal to grow tendrils that eventually puncture the skin from within and destroy it.

I was skimming through the video at first not knowing it was a mockumentary and landed on the part of the man in bed. I nearly died.

WATCH VIDEO

This is intensely creepy. Watch it.

Especially the ending, where the metal takes over his body

I have vague potential. I’m accepted at Red Building Academy and leave in the fall, mom and I sobbing clutching hands in the driveway. In my dorm I share a four poster with a boy named Daniel who’s immediately yammering about video games, nerdy yet loquacious and overbearing…

Anatomy of the Majestic Corgi
(as I’ve come to know them, courtesy of my precious corgi, Waffle)

Radars: Detects the sound of food bags opening, dropped food, food on plates, skateboards, scooters, etc.

Poker: Used to get the attention of a corgi’s human.

Taster of All Things: Food inhaler, food goes in here.

Majestic Poof: Used to charm humans. Touch for good luck.

Stumpers: Used to frap.

Nub (or floofy tail on some corgis): Happy meter.

Tush Skirts: Used to distract or hypnotize humans during walkies.

Drummies: Essential parts of a sploot.

Note: Scritch spots and rub spots may vary from one corgi to another.

Amazing. I want to buy it!!

"Downtime" - Another piece for my Imagined Realms project on kickstarter.
This originally was just the woman and the dragon, but a few months back my orange tabby cat Cody passed away, and I wanted to include him in one of the pieces. Cody was a very sweet kitty, my little sunshine boy. (The other cat is Max, my snowshoe Siamese; we got him last year and he is very happy, although his crossed eyes tend to make him look bewildered most of the time).
Edit: Also, one of the stretch goals for my kickstarter is a video download that shows how this piece was made. :)
